When you can’t NOT write

Ask yourself in the most silent hour of your night: Must I write?
Dig into yourself for a deep answer.
If you meet this solemn question with a strong, simple “I must”
Then build your life in accordance with this necessity.

~ Rainer Maria Rilke

My son is a true creative who writes music, but he’s also a good writer in general. This is his life motto.

This captures the heart and soul of a writer: someone who must write…someone who can’t NOT write.

There are no guarantees of anything in life: no guarantees of how many books you will sell, no guarantees of anything, right down to wealth, health, and our days here on earth. So what makes someone a writer? One who feels the desire, drive, and compulsion so strongly that it can’t be denied because it’s a part of his or her entire being.

If you are that kind of writer, and you want to publish your book without waiting for validation from anyone who seems to be important or relevant in “the industry” — but you don’t want to tackle that process yourself, I am here for you!
